The T.B. Scott Library is your whistle stop Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. for train-themed family fun. The library welcomes Tom Bullman and friends from The Hobby Connection, your neighborhood shop for all things train just down the line in Rothschild. Tom will give a presentation about model trains and he will be bringing a train board with him that children may operate. In addition, we’ll enjoy some train themed stories and a craft. And there will be several trains set up in the Youth Services Department for plenty of hands-on train fun.
Then mark your calendar for next month’s magical March Family Fun Night. Magician Isaiah Foster, will be joining us from La Crosse, on Thursday, March 22 at 6 p.m. for a magical performance you won’t want to miss. The performance is titled “The Pure Energy Magic Show.” This is a 45-minute family magic show packed with magic, illusion and plenty of audience participation.
Family Fun Night offerings are “Scott Free” fun and offer families who may not be able to avail themselves of daytime programming an opportunity to enjoy the Library with their children in the early evening. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required.
