Last week, Merrill Community Bank donated $1,700 to Prairie River Middle School and the ‘Freedom Pen’ project headed by Technology Education teacher Pete McConnell. According to McConnell, the funds will be used in continuing to sustain the program which involves PRMS Tech Ed students crafting pens by hand, for local veterans participating in the Honor Flight organization.
