Phil Ziesemer opened his own studio in 1985. They are open by appointment Monday thru Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 pm. Phil is widely known for his production of contemporary, high-quality portraiture of children, high school seniors and families.

Phil Ziesemer has been honored with the degree of Master Photographer and Craftsman by the Professional Photographers of America. He used his expertise to give his customers the best quality photography whether it is in the studio setting, outdoors, at your home and any other setting of your choosing.

“Families are the circle of life – children grow, loved ones pass away, new ones are born,” said Debbe Kinsey, Merrill Chamber CEO. “Families are ever changing, so be sure to capture all the important moments and everyday moments with photography. It is the documentation that lives on for generations.”

Phil Ziesemer Photography is associated with numerous professional associations including: Professional Photographers of America, Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association, Indianhead Professional Photographers Association and the American Society of Photographers.

Phil has won many awards including being named the Photographer of the Year for the past two years.

“Phil Ziesemer Photography is a homegrown, family owned business who has documented many families and experiences of Merrill,” concluded Kinsey. “Let Phil capture the true you or your family today through photography. He is the official Chamber Board photographer.”

Phil Ziesemer Photography, another reason we say – For the Love of Merrill!
