MHS Homecoming festivities continue

Along with the kickoff to homecoming week last Friday morning, was the traditional window painting at participating businesses around the community; McDonalds, Culver’s, Chips Hamburgers and Duane Kreager Insurance on South Center Avenue. Festivities continue tomorrow with dress up day at MHS and a “American/USA” dress-up theme followed by “twins” themed dress up day on Friday. Also on Friday, beginning at 8:30 AM the MHS varsity football team, cheerleaders and MHS band members will head to local elementary schools to parade through hallways meeting and greeting their many, mini-fans.Then from 1-3 PM will be a pep assembly at the MHS Field House where the Homecoming Queen will be named. Friday’s events will culminate with the traditional bonfire at the MHS athletics practice fields east of the school campus, from 7-11 PM.

The freshman class of 2021 put their school spirit into art on the windows at DuWayne Kreager Insurance on Friday. The MHS sophomore class show their school spirit on the windows at Chip's. The junior Class of 2019 show their Bluejay Pride on the windows of Culver's. The MHS seniors put their mark on the windows of McDonald's Friday afternoon.
