Lovely weather shone down upon the third annual Pork in the Park ribfest at the MARC Saturday afternoon. Nine rib cooks were vying for this year’s trophies with Kurt & Joe’s coming out on top. Kim’s BS took second place and The Wellness Center was third. The People’s Choice award went to Geiss Meat Service.
The event drew about 3,000 people. For the first time, Pork in the Park went the scheduled duration without running out of ribs.
